This years Symposion Dürnstein gathers international speakers to discuss the future of democrary.
Providing an alternative method and structure for participative decision making processes I am honored to support the presentation of SK-Prinzip. As an alternative to the common usage of the majority rule the method “Systemisches Konsensieren” is using objection and dissent as a valuable resource to start construcitve crowdsourcing processes.
The audience in the autiotrium will be part of an experiment: how we may achieve sustainable political decisions.
SK (as the common short term is known) is a tool that supports the experience and the development of a collaborative culture. It forsters individual and collective skills for cooperatively finding sustainable, viable solutions for the collective. How? The method makes groups stay our become capable of acting by finding the one possibility that faces the least collective dissent, which marks the highest possible collective acceptance.
